Comments about National Cycle SwitchBlade Shorty Windshield - Clear:

I have a Honda Shadow Spirit 750. At highway speeds this windshield does not help. In fact there is so much turbulence hitting the top of my head I can barely see whats in the rear view mirror. Go with a taller screen for this bike. I am not tall by any stretch, just 5'10".

ClassicCruiser Response: Because the SwitchBlade mounting system allows interchanging of different shield sizes, you could consider the 2-Up, or Chopped version. They have more height coverage. Of course, the additional height may not fit your line of sight preference. Often, a source of the unwanted turbulence is from airflow from below the windshield. You should consider purchasing the optional Lower Deflectors for the SwitchBlade system. You can do a simple test to see if there is significant air moving behind the shield by simply riding along in clear air, and well clear of traffic, and at highways speeds; let go of the left grip and position your forearm in front of you crossways, horizontal and a little above the tank, and see if you can feel any noticeable reduction in buffeting... what you're trying to do is slightly block any air moving up from underneath... you may have to play with it for a moment, but likely you'll find a sweet-spot where you notice a reduction.
